Company
There is no sales team, and that is the useful part
Card checkout is being enabled through our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record for card sales. Today a plan is activated after a short email exchange in which we find out what you are fetching and tell you whether we can serve it, and the account is billed by invoice at the published rates.
What we do not offer
There are no account executives, no discovery calls and no quota-carrying reps. We hold no card details of yours at any point: where you pay by card, the card is collected by our payment provider acting as merchant of record, never by us. The old version of this page collected your job title, company size, budget band and project timeline through a form and promised a callback within one business day; there was nobody to make it.
What actually happens
You email billing@roamingproxy.com. You describe the targets, the region you need and roughly how many requests a month. We answer with either a plan on your account or an honest no.
The Terms say it plainly: we bill by invoice, and we agree pricing with you in writing before we charge you anything. Invoices are issued at period close and due 30 days from issue unless we agree otherwise.
The price is already published
There is no quote to extract from us. The plan is 25 US dollars a month including the first 50,000 requests, and 50 cents per 1,000 requests beyond that. The pricing page reads the catalog live from GET /v2/plans rather than repeating a number that could drift out of date.
If your volume sits far past the included tier, say so in the email. Anything different from the published catalog would be agreed in writing, and there is no discount schedule hiding behind a form.
What to put in the first email
Four things make the answer quick, and the fourth is the one that decides it.
The targets
The domains or APIs you intend to fetch. We do not need a full list, just the shape of it.
The region
us-east, us-west or europe. Those are the three we run; there is no fourth.
Rough volume
Requests per month, and whether it is steady or bursty.
Whether your target blocks datacenter addresses
Our egress is datacenter only. If your target refuses cloud ranges, no plan we sell fixes that, and we would rather say so in the first reply.
Why a conversation instead of a checkout
A proxy is abused more often than most infrastructure, and the acceptable-use section of the Terms is enforced strictly. A conversation before the first invoice is how we keep the network usable and how you find out early that we are the wrong supplier if you needed residential addresses, search-engine results or a headless browser.
Questions
- Can I pay by card right now?
- Card checkout is being enabled through our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record. Until it is live, we activate your plan on the account and invoice you, due 30 days from issue. Either way we never hold your card: no card number, security code or expiry date is accepted, transmitted or stored by us, which is what the Privacy Policy says too.
- Is there a minimum term?
- We publish none. Whatever we agree with you in writing is the agreement; the catalog plan is monthly.
- Do you have an enterprise tier?
- No named tier, no SLA with service credits, and no support contract. The Terms say the Service is provided without a contractual uptime guarantee, and that is true for every account.
