We do not sell your personal information
If a Do Not Sell or Share link brought you here, this is the page it points at, and the answer is already no. There is no toggle below, because there is no sale or advertising disclosure to switch off.
What we do not offer
There is no opt-out form, no preference centre and no advertising identifier to reset. We run no advertising business, have no ad network partners, export no audiences, and place no affiliate or conversion pixel. Nothing on this site can build a cross-site profile of you, so there is nothing for a preference to control.
The statement itself
Section 5 of our Privacy Policy is direct about it: we do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Two related commitments sit next to it in section 2 — we do not buy personal data from third parties, and we do not use your content to train models.
This is not a policy we adopted under pressure. Selling data would require having data worth selling, and the platform is built the other way: egress nodes do not log target URLs or response bodies, request logs store an API key prefix rather than the key, and we hold no card numbers or bank details at all.
What sale and sharing mean, and why neither happens here
In California privacy law a sale is a disclosure of personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, and sharing is disclosure for cross-context behavioural advertising. Both require a counterparty who wants the data and a mechanism that moves it.
We have neither. There is no advertising product, no ad partner, and no tracker on the site: the frontend writes no cookies at all, keeping only a sign-in token and a theme preference in browser local storage, which is per-origin and unreadable by any other site. Who does receive data, and why it is not a sale
Data does leave our servers in four narrow cases, all of them listed in the Privacy Policy. None involves payment to us and none is for advertising.
Amazon Web Services
Hosts our servers and database in the United States. A processor acting on our instructions.
Amazon SES
Sends account and verification email. It sees the address it has to deliver to.
Payment networks and banks
Only when a payment dispute is opened, and only the logs needed as evidence that the service was delivered.
Law enforcement
Only where we are legally compelled. We will notify you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
If you want to act anyway
You can still exercise every other right you have. Delete your account from the profile page, or write to support@roamingproxy.com to ask for access, correction or deletion — the data-requests page explains what to include and which records we cannot erase while they are inside their retention window.
Questions
- Do I need to submit anything to opt out?
- No. There is no sale or sharing to opt out of, so there is nothing for a request to change. Sending one would produce a reply saying exactly this.
- Do you share data with advertisers or data brokers?
- No, in both directions. We do not disclose personal data for advertising and we do not buy personal data from third parties.
- Could this change later?
- If it ever did, the Privacy Policy says we email account holders at least 30 days before a material change takes effect and update the effective date. You would hear about it before it applied.
